The City of Columbia’s Water and Waste Water Management Facility, is a prime example of adaptive reuse and how a brownfield and abandoned site can be revitalized and can positively impact and uplift the surrounding community. The green roof system and a series of rain gardens built to capture stormwater, are only two of the many many innovative features on-site.
